Impact
"The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any." - Alice Walker
Dear friends and supporters,
When I reflect on this past year, I don’t just think about programs or outcomes. I think about the places and people who hold our communities together, often quietly and without recognition. The places and people who keep fighting when the rest of the world feels like its closing in.
MHET’s greatest strength lies in the moments where we stepped in where systems fell short. We remove barriers that stand in the way of basic dignity. We make clean energy solutions practical, immediate, and grounded in community needs.
Last year, in our first annual report, we shared the early promise of our work. This year, we are sharing proof. Our 2025 Impact Report captures the impact of that work, the communities it reached, and the momentum we are building together.
I invite you to take a look at our report and this page (which we will update as we continue to make real, local change in 2026 and beyond) to see just how we are showing up for our community. I’m so proud of this team, grateful to our partners, and most of all, thankful to the neighbors who make this work real. I hope you find the same joy reading it as I did.
